The Sin of Hurting the Parents
Hurting one’s parents immensely (ʿuquq) is among the major sins. Allâh threatened the one who does it with severe torture in Hellfire. This means to harm either or both parents immensely (causing them a lot of pain). Hurting one’s parents is unlawful whether it is severe or light.

How to Determine the Qiblah Direction for Prayer
al-’Imam ash-Shafiʿiyy said in his book, Al-’Umm: “It is conceivable that Allah, the Exalted, ordered them with facing the direction of al-Qiblah by seeking its signs. He did not leave them to determine the direction by means which please them, cross their hearts, or delude them. Allah decreed not to leave them helpless without showing them the signs”. This means that Allah showed His slaves the acknowledge signs for seeking the direction of al-Qiblah. Hence, no attention is due to that which does not rely on religious proof.

The Amazing Signs during the Birth of the Prophet Muḥammad
Many signs accompanied the honorable birth of the Prophet. Al-Bayhaqiyy, Ibn ʿAsakir and others narrated from the route of Hani’ ِl-Makhzumi that he said, « On the night of the birth of the Messenger of Allâh, the palace of Kisra (the King of the Persians) shook and fourteen balconies fell from it. The fire of the Persians which had been burning continuously for one thousand years went out. The lake of Sa wah (in Persia) dried up. »

Adam the First Prophet and first Man
Adam is the first man and Prophet Messenger created by God. He was created from earth mixed with water, so he has no father or mother. He is the father of humanity. The Two Testifications Shahadahs
Professing the Two Shahadahs: In regards to the blasphemer who wants to embrace Islam, the belief is not accepted without one uttering the Two Testifications (Shahadahs). In addition, the Muslim is obligated to recite the Two Testifications (Shahadahs) in every prayer for validity of that prayer. The Two Testifications are: I testify that no one is God except Allâh and I testify that Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allâh.

Riya’ Insincerity the Sin of the Heart
The heart is the leader of the organs ; if the heart is devoted to piety then the rest of the organs will follow its lead, and consequently, the person will become pious ; likewise, if the heart is corrupted, the rest of the organs will follow in corruption, and consequently, the person will become a sinner. Among what the Prophet conveyed and is obligatory to believe in are: the Bridge, which all the people will cross. The Types of Blasphemy and Blasphemers (Kufr)
